Samulnori is one of Korean Traditional Drum playing, which invented by Kim Dug Soo. Samulnori is Originated from Poongmulnori. Samulnori is just for performance but Poongmulnori actually has many differences than Samulnori.
Poongmulnori has more instruments and more players and the players doesn’t sit and play, they move around like the marching band. In poongmulnori, there’s few people who dances around (called job sec) and those dancers try to make audiences join them; dance.
This Samulnori is played by K.U.G. Samulnori members at Charity Awareness on Saturday Oct. 4nd.
